BS EN 14825:2018 – TC

 

Air conditioners, liquid chilling packages and heat pumps, with electrically driven compressors, for space heating and cooling.

BS EN 14825 is about Testing and rating at part load conditions and calculation of seasonal performance of Air conditioners, liquid chilling packages and heat pumps, with electrically driven compressors, for space heating and cooling. 

BS EN 14825 covers air conditioners, heat pumps and liquid chilling packages, including comfort and process chillers. 

BS EN 14825 applies to factory-made units, except single duct, double duct, control cabinet and close control units. 

BS EN 14825 also covers direct exchange-to-water(brine) heat pumps (DX-to-water(brine))

BS EN 14825 also covers hybrid heat pumps. 

 

 




BS EN 14511-3:2018 - TC

Air conditioners, liquid chilling packages and heat pumps for space heating and cooling and process chillers, with electrically driven compressors - Test methods

 

BS EN 14511 discusses air conditioners, liquid chilling packages, and heat pumps for space heating and cooling and process chillers, HVAC with electrically driven compressors. 

BS EN 14511‑3 is the third part of BS EN 14511 multi-series and discusses test methods. 

BS EN 14511‑3 specifies the test methods for the rating and performance of air conditioners, liquid chilling packages, and heat pumps using either air, water, or brine as heat transfer media, with electrically driven compressors when used for space heating and cooling. These test methods also apply to the rating and performance of process chillers. 

BS EN 14511‑3 also specifies the method of testing and reporting for heat recovery capacities, the system reduced capacities, and the capacity of individual indoor units of multi split systems, where applicable. 

BS EN 14511‑3 also makes it possible to rate multi split and modular heat recovery multi split systems by rating separately the indoor and outdoor units.
